Join Our Team

Illawarra Diggers is always looking for passionate, dedicated volunteers to join our team.

If you have a skill you would like to share, or feel you would like to give volunteering a go, we would love to hear from you.

We benefit greatly from our dedicated volunteers giving freely of their time to help enrich the lives of our residents.

Our volunteers work together with staff to encourage residents to participate in a variety of social activities.

Volunteers' help includes:

  • Visiting and talking with residents
  • Reading books
  • Providing musical entertainment including sing-a-longs
  • Running craft activities
  • Playing board games or cards
  • Teaching about using computers
  • Bus outings

Our dedicated group of volunteers is a vital part of the Illawarra Diggers team and we are grateful for their ongoing support.
